From Bleeding Profits to Increasing Volumes
Reproductive Health Center
Executive Summary
Reproductive Health Center [RHC] is a single physician practice located in Tucson, Arizona. When a large new competitor entered the market, RHC saw patient volumes decrease two years in a row. Alarmed by the stark decrease in revenue, Dr. Scott Hutchinson consulted Fertility Bridge to stop the bleeding and increase clinic revenues fast.
Challenges
Large, private equity backed competitor had 3x the budget
Patient volumes dropped 16% from 2016 to 2017 ($110,000 loss in gross profit)
OBGYN referrals were drying up because of financial ties to larger hospital systems and practices
Less than 25% of their patients were being referred by a friend

Strategy
Fertility Bridge needed to show patients why a boutique clinic, with personalized, concierge level care, was a better choice. The strategy was to differentiate RHC from it’s competition who had one size fit all protocols and limited doctor/patient interaction.
Fertility Bridge always begins with a ‘Patient Journey Phases’ assessment. We analyze each pillar within each phase to understand where the largest patient drop-off is occurring. For RHC, their largest challenge was converting leads to new consults.
To achieve the goal of increasing new patient volume and turn more leads into consults, Fertility Bridge:
Developed, filmed, and produced professional grade videos that showcased the practice’s unique and personalized care model
Managed, responded and grew the social media and online presence to create a sense of brand loyalty and community, increasing the referrals and reviews from past patients.
Audited website content to ensure the patient could find the answers to their questions easily, without needing to ask and call the clinic’s staff.
