As the Podcast Project Manager working with Inside Reproductive Health you will be responsible for managing the distribution of up to five podcast episodes a month. Management includes ensuring the weekly delivery along with overseeing the production and promotion of the podcast.

THE OUTCOMES THIS POSITION WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR  

  • Podcast released on time every week 

    • Upon release the podcast is:

      • Distributed on social media

      • Added to the Fertility Bridge website

      • Added to any other platforms where the podcasts are housed

    • Also upon release of the podcast, the newsletter which features a podcast summary, is distributed through email via MailChimp

      • The advertiser assets will be provided by the Traffic Manager via the Advertiser Strategy Intake document.

  • Podcast episodes completed within 3 weeks of recording. Completion includes:

    • Podcast is fully produced

    • Social media posts are prepared 

    • Transcript is completed 

    • Web page(s) are updated

    •  Newsletter email is prepared

  • A reserve maintained of five episodes which have been recorded and produced/in production that have not yet been released. 

THE TOOLS WE PROVIDE 

  • Google Suite

    • Google Drive location for advertiser intake of assets

  • Project management software--Asana

    • Episode Planner, for overall traffic visualization

    • Main Podcast Template, for tracking outcomes and timelines

    • Interviewee Scheduling Funnel, for tracking potential interviewees

    • Audio checklists and examples

  • A Riverside.fm subscription

  • A Loom training for how to complete the podcast

  • A Mailchimp subscription with 1,500 subscribers Fertility Leaders mailing list

  • A Squarespace subscription with Squarespace tech support 

  • A new brand guide and templates for the Inside Reproductive Health brand

  • A podcast contributor who schedules episodes

  • A podcast editor who edits audio and video

    • Each episode is allotted 5 hours of audio editing 

  • A social media coordinator 

  • A website coordinator

  • An operations manager

THE TOOLS WE DO NOT PROVIDE (YET)

  • A digest project manager

  • A traffic manager, for transfer of data and assets between sales and delivery

  • A brand manager 

  • A senior digital strategist

  • There are not yet formal instructions available for explaining the capabilities/editing techniques of the software. You will need to learn this information on your own. 

  • Current podcast editing software may not have all of the necessary capabilities, we may need to seek a different software 

    • If this is the case, you will be responsible for selecting a suitable software

  • Interviewee Funnel is dependent on manual updates with new names that are provided by the Principal 

  • Established SEO guidelines or webpage structure guidelines

  • Asana template and/or Loom training will need to be continuously/further  developed
